About Stacy Swann
Stacy Swann is the CEO and Founding Partner of Climate Finance Advisors – a women-owned consulting and advisory firm working at the nexus of private investment and climate change. Stacy has over 2 decades of experience in fund management and development, in particular at the International Finance Corporation, where she headed up their Blended Finance Unit. While at the IDC, Stacy took charge of managing and investing more than $750 million in donor funding for climate-smart and sustainable investments.
Stacy has worked alongside the World Bank Group efforts to support its collaborate with financial institutions and policy makers on issues spanning the gamut of ESG, from climate finance, climate-smart fiscal policies and incorporating practical policy and investment approaches to managing climate risk.
As well as running Climate Finance Advisors, Stacy is also Vice-Chairperson of the Board and Chair of the Investment Committee for the Montgomery County Green Bank, the United States’ first county-level green bank. She also sits on the Board of the Women’s Council on Energy and Environment (WCEE) and also helped establish the Global Adaptation and Resilience Investment (GARI) working group, which has convened over 150 private investors and other stakeholders to discuss practical approaches to adaptation and resilience investment.
